Doctors who stay with you after the urgent visit

Our team brings together doctors in general practice, emergency medicine, internal medicine, occupational medicine and sports medicine, all registered with the Italian Medical Council. They work from the same medical record, so whoever sees you already knows your history.

If you come in with bronchitis and we find your blood pressure is high, we don't just leave you with generic advice: we book a follow-up, arrange the tests and see you through until it's under control.

About VitalNexa

Why patients choose VitalNexa

  • Everything in one place

Examination, tests, X-ray and treatment in the same clinic, without going from centre to centre.

  • Two central clinics

Near the Duomo and the Navigli, a few minutes from the metro.

  • Doctors who follow you

The same team for today's urgent problem and your check-ups in the months ahead.

  • Italian and English

Visits, reports and certificates in English for anyone living or working in Milan.

  • Modern diagnostics

Digital X-ray, rapid tests and ECG for an accurate diagnosis during your visit.

How a walk-in visit works

From arrival to treatment, usually in under an hour.

  1. Walk in or request a slot

Come straight to the clinic, or send us a request online to cut your wait.

  2. Triage and examination

A nurse checks your vital signs and priority, then a doctor examines you.

  3. Tests and treatment on the spot

X-ray, lab tests or wound care in the same visit. You leave with a diagnosis, treatment plan and report.

Results, payments and reimbursements, no queues

Everything after your visit can be handled from your phone.

Results online

You receive an SMS with a link and a personal code to download your reports and results as a PDF, without coming back.

Card and contactless payment

Card, contactless or a payment link. Your medical invoice is always sent to the Tessera Sanitaria system for Italian tax returns.

Insurance and health funds

We work with Italian health funds and international insurers, billing directly or for reimbursement. We check your cover before your visit.

Urgent care and primary care under one roof

VitalNexa exists to fill the gap between your GP, who often can't see you the same day, and A&E, which has to prioritise serious cases. The name joins vital and nexus: one place where today's urgent problem becomes ongoing care.

Walk in whenever you need us, or book a visit with the doctor who will follow you over time.

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Write or call us: we answer throughout opening hours. Contact

Can I come without an appointment?

Yes. For urgent care, blood tests and certificates you can walk in to either clinic at any time during opening hours. For primary care, weight loss, men's health and regenerative treatments we recommend booking.

Should I come to you or go to A&E?

If the problem is urgent but not life-threatening, such as a fever, a sprain or a cut that needs stitches, come to us and be seen quickly. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke or serious injuries, call 112.

Are medical costs tax-deductible?

Yes. Italian taxpayers can deduct 19% of medical costs in their tax return when paying by a traceable method (card or bank transfer). We always issue a medical invoice and send it to the Tessera Sanitaria system for your pre-filled tax return.

Do you accept health insurance?

We work with a number of Italian supplementary health funds and international insurers, either billing directly or with you claiming reimbursement. Contact us before your visit with your insurer's name and we'll check your cover and the paperwork you need.

Do your doctors speak English?

Yes. Every visit can be in Italian or English, and we can prepare reports and certificates in English on request.

What should I bring?

Photo ID, your Italian health card if you have one, a list of your current medication and any recent test results. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
